Save and continue later function not working

    Maybe I'm missing something in the instructions or I don't understand this function at all.  I went through all the steps to create a Save and Continue Later form.  However, there is no way for the user to Save the form.  I put the forms on my website to test them and I did get an email with a link that took me to the 2nd form as it should have, but when I tried to go back to the form later, all the fields were clear.  I'm guessing that's because I clicked the Submit button.  The form must be submitted.  But the point in Saving and Continuing Later is to be able to leave some fields blank.  That's not possible to do if the fields are required.  Is the user supposed to just close the form without actually saving and can then go back to it later by using the link in the email?  Will the fields that were filled in be filled in still?  That's extremely difficult to explain to a user and to get them to believe that a form can just be closed without saving and their information will remain in tact.

    Also, it will REALLY help in your explanations to provide info about the user would see.  I'm having to test everything because there is no info about what the user sees.

    I've enjoyed getting to know how to use JotForm.  I can't wait to see what else I can do with it.

    Thank you

    I believe that you are referring to the forms below in your account.

    Form 1: Create Session ID for Scholarship Application

    Form 2: Test Save and Continue Form

    As I check the form 1, I see that there are no autoresponders set to send with the link to the form 2.

    Please create a link to the second form in the form 1 auto-responder or Thank you page as shown below to prepopulate the data (Name and Email) from Form 1.

    http://form.jotformpro.com/form/61435404847154?session={email}&name[first]={name:first}&name[middle]={name:middle}&name[last]={name:last}&name[suffix]={name:suffix}&email11={email}

    When the Next button is clicked on the second form, it will be displayed as "Saving" for a quick moment. I have tested the Session and it is working fine at my end.

    I believe that you have followed the instructions from the following guide.

    Please add an auto-responder with the link provided above in Form 1 and check. Let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to assist.
