Is there a way to save draft form

i was working on a form on an i pad and had to go to web for info and when i went back to form it was gone??? can i get it back??? and if not is there a way to save a draft on a form until  i  have it complete to send in

If the changes you made were previously saved, they can be recovered from Revision History - How-to-View-Form-Revision-History.

To have a copy of your form that can be used to make modifications without touching the original, cloning the form is a good option.
