Condition not updating field using the dateString option, on cloned form

Could you please explain why the condition on a form that I cloned from a post in the Support Room, named Test Date 1 is working;

and yet the form I am designing, named Test Date 2 is not;

The fields, condition criteria and input masks all 'seem' to be the same but when the date is selected in Test Date 2, the Day and Date field remains blank!
