EPOS Receipt - Need printout of submission for receipt printer

Hi I am wanting to use an EPOS-type simple form with easy receipt printing, like a cash receipt.

    The sample form is: https://form.jotformeu.com/61114982855360

From browsing your support pages I can see that there are options to print during submission and also there is a 'preview' option (which sadly does not include a print option) but printouts are currently all over the place,  I need control over page layout of what is being printed, so that I can keep it within the margins of a thermal receipt printer.  Foe example even if I can adapt left margins the receipt needs to not be the length of a sheet of A4.

Please can you advise the best method of achieving this.  I need to keep it as simple as possible.  I could locate EPOS software but I need to use Jotform if possible.

Are you trying to print the submission or the form with empty text boxes?

If you are referring to the submission, you can actually customize the PDF using the PDF Designer. This will allow you adjust the label and and the answer. Here's how you can access the PDF Designer:

    1. In My Forms, select the form and then click the Submissions button.

    2. In the Submissions, click the PDF button and then choose Customize PDF.

    3. Here in the PDF designer, you can position and adjust the size the labels and the fields.

If this is not what you need then can you please provide more details about your issue. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply but no, what I am wanting to do is have the submission printable on a receipt printer therefore I need full control over the output page size otherwise the left margin is cut off and it prints the length of A4 portrait.

You can print the PDF submission once you downloaded it. The PDF Designer will allow you to customize the looks of your PDF output. The screenshot I've shared shows that the name and email field is in the center of the PDF. After downloading the PDF submission, you can print it using a PDF reader program.

We have an app called Submission View. Here's the link: http://views.jotform.io/

In this app, you'll be able to customize the way you view your submission. However, you'll need to embed this in a webpage using Iframe code wherein you will limit the the width of the Iframe.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

Hi, I have at last had a chance to check out the Submission View app.  Not only is it not in the least bit straightforward to use, put there appears to be no option to control the page height. I tried with one form and it printed 3 entries over 2 pages. I would use this app but I need to control paper height output and print one record at a time.  Frustratingly, I could have worked with the Thank You page but there is no longer an option to have a print button there.  All I want to do is be able to print a submission onto a receipt printer, having control over page length and margins.

Unfortunately, we don't have a tool that can edit the output of the submission. The only tools available are the PDF Designer and the Submissions View App.

    Thank you for understanding.
