Next button allows users to continue even if required fields are not completed

I've  created a multi-page form called Universal Application.  It used to be that when I clicked on the Next button, it would not proceed if any required fields were not complete.  However, now, if I click on the Next button, the form proceeds to the next page with the following message at the bottom:  There are errors on this page. Please fix them before continuing.  However, it has already moved the user to the next page and does not highlight the incomplete required fields in red.  In fact, you can continue to progress through the form.  You will notice that I am also using the form tabs widget and it is currently set to continue without page validation to make it easier to navigate at this time while I'm editing/reviewing the form.  My understanding is that I can have the widget with this preference and the Back/Next buttons should still require completion of required fields on a page before proceeding; if they are not complete, the user should not be allowed to continue and the fields will be highlighted in red.

Are you referring to this form - http://www.jotform.us/form/61458148445158? I checked the form and I noticed that the Form Tabs WidgetAllow navigation without validation setting is set to Yes.

If you are using the Form Tabs widget, please note the setting of the Form Tabs widget also works with the Page Break (Back/Next) buttons as it also serves as a navigation between Form Tabs. Please set the Allow navigation without validation setting of the Form Tabs widget to No so it will not allow user to go to the next page without completing the required fields or other validation when clicking the Next button.
