    Sending emails from dropdown

Asked by mleppin on June 01, 2016 at 11:41 AM

I see {email}  but what replaces the word email? the tile of the dropdown I am using?

I have a travel submission form

3 succession approvals with signature blocks and using a drop down to send to the next approval level.

I got the succession approval piece to work on another form but as soon as I add the dropdown portion, it hangs up. Help me out?

I presume you want to send email notifications based on a drop down selection. Is that correct?

Then perhaps using the feature conditional logic would give you a more option on how to set it up? Here's a general guide about this feature: https://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic.

Here's a specific guide on how to change recipient emails on your notification/autoresponder based on a selection: https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-Selection

Let us know if that will work for you.
