Help setting up a custom order calculator

Asked by Spade12 on June 02, 2016 at 12:43 PM

    Hello!

Building an order form - I need the total price to include a 30% setup fee that MUST equal at least 100.

Surely this one quick line of JS code that I'm too noobish to figure out.

    Halp?

I have inspected your form and I saw that you added tax rate of 30% to all of your products. If I understood you correctly you want to set minimum tax of 100$. For example if product that worth 50$ is selected Total price should be 150$ not 65$.

To achieve that you will need to create your product outside of your payment field and than to perform calculation inside of the form. Than you would need to pass total calculation to your payment field. Inside of this guide you can find how to perform calculation inside of the form, how to assign calculation values and how to pass calculation to payment field:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

I found another issue when I inspected your forms. I saw that you have fields that collect credit card information and that is against JotForm Terms of use.

Phishing. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

Card number, expiration date, security codes and card holder name are considered critical information and cannot be collected on plain text fields. The only services allowed to collect such data are those that are DSS/PCI certified.

You need to remove fields that are used for collecting credit card information from all of your forms.

If you do not remove those fields in next 24 hours, we will need to do it.

Termination. You agree that Company may terminate your JotForm Service membership or suspend your access to all or part of the JotForm Service, without notice, if Company determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, that you have violated these Terms. Further, you agree that Company shall not be liable to you or any third party for removing your Submissions or suspending or terminating your access to the JotForm Service. You may discontinue your participation in and access to the JotForm Service at any time.

If you want to have payment fields inside of your form you have to use one of JotForm payment tools.

Considering that you did not delete fields that collect credit card info, I have logged in to your account and deleted mentioned fields from all of your forms.

If we notice that you have added the fields back, we will need to delete the forms completely, together with all submissions.

Once again if you want to have payment fields inside of your forms you have to use one of JotForm payment tools.

Inside of this articles you can find out more about payment tools and how to set payment form:
