    High traffic error - after clicking on submit

    Dear Jotform team,

     

    again some bug appeared... what's up with jotform? We need an stable service and not a service which is working sometimes and sometimes not. Less features, more stability! Sorry, I'm really upset since this is the second jotform related bug in two weeks. We have a paid account and an stable upload tool is crucial for our business.

    Today we received messages of our customers stating they suddenly receive an "high traffic" error after clicking the submit button. There are some other posts concerning this problem in the forum over the last years, no solution. Sumbmissions and therefore our orders are lost...

    And the jotform status page? "Latest  Stats" shows everythings is working fine. It seems to us: it's not!

    The issue today: Our account shows 3.95GB out of 10GB, but it shows red progress bar and seems to be full? We also can not access the submissions page for deleting entries... after long loading time the page shows no entries. All of this worked yesterday...

    Are there any known issues at the moment?

    Thank you for reporting that. The issue should be fixed now. We would appreciate it if you could also test it on your side and let us know the result.

    It is not related to your upload space. When I've checked your account, I see that it is active and you used 3.99GB of 10GB.

    No, problem is not solved. Service is still "temporarily unavailable"... What can we do now?

    Technically, there is a little difference between the error message that you have seen and the stats being displayed. The stats displayed in the Jotform Status page is related to the uptime of the server or related to the accessibility of the servers. If the servers are down wherein you cannot access JotForm page at all. The error message that you have seen is might be related to the traffic being sent to the server that should have taken a few more seconds to execute the queries.

    We have been upgrading our servers time to time as we see major changes with the application to handle enough traffic. This issue that you have experienced should be a temporary one and our backend team is already aware of it and they should be already working on it to avoid in the future.
