    Have a random "thank you page" display, or rotate on "X" number of submissions?

    Asked by createmymobile on March 18, 2012 at 03:11 AM

    Just playing with some ideas in my head:  Would it be possible to have a form that, when submitted, will display a random "thank you" message from a rotating selection of different "thank you" messages?

    Or, to have a special "thank you" message displayed for every 20 submissions?  E.g. submissions 1-19 get a message that says "Sorry, you didn't win this time!", and submission 20 displays "you're a winner!"

    Hello,

    I think you can accomplish your random thank you page regardless you're using jotform. I'm thinking that you could use the "personalized url" and provide a url in your website with some php code which allows you to display random messages, instead of the thank you page provided by jotform. The drawback would be that you wouldn't know who gets each message (i.e who wins / who loses) unless you code a little further

    @guest_22895297375066,

    Thank you for sharing your beautiful idea.

    @createmymobile,

    Also, it is possible to add an Unique ID hidden field to the form, and then show conditional Thank You Message based on the ID.

    Each 'winner' rule should be added manually to the condition.
