Why is my custom Thank You page message not showing upon submissionAsked by farmcreditIL on June 06, 2016 at 11:47 AM
I updated the basic/default Thank You message to have a bit more in it. But when I did a test submission, the Thank You message I got emailed to me is still the short default one. This is what I had written:
Your Focus on Farming photo submission has been received. Did you make sure to submit only high resolution images (1 mg or higher)? And remember, the images must be your own and not images someone took for you (a wedding portrait, family portrait, high school senior portrait, or baby portrait). We're excited for another great contest this year. Good luck!
To my understanding you are referring to the thank you page being updated but then you receive a thank you message that is emailed to you that is different?
The Thank You page and what is Emailed to you are two separate features.
Your Thank You page I see is set to the paragraph you have listed above when I checked it.
However, if you are referring to something not displayed right when emailed to you that is the email notification so you might want to check it and change anything in it that you need as that controls what is sent to you via email when you receive a new submission.
If you need more help though then let us know and provide more clarification or a screenshot if possible so we can help assist you with fixing the problem area.
I changed the Thank You message on our two Centennial State Fair registration forms, but when I do a test submission, the default standard Thank You pops up (below) and not my custom one.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I have just tested your form and was able to replicate the issue. The first time I submitted the form, I did get the default thank you page.
Once I cleared my cache and cookies, as well as re-saved the form. The custom Thank You page appeared.
