Prepopulate app: Masked phone number field can not be prepopulated

I've just hit the same problem as the original poster; any chance this bug is going to be fixed please?

On other thread mentioned issue with prepopulate app and masked phone field was not reported to our developers. 

I did some tests and it is still not possible to prepopulate masked phone number field with prepopulate app. 

I will escalate this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved. 

For now instead of phone number field you can use regular text box field and set validation of that field to be numeric. Or you can manually insert it on the generated URL, like my colleague suggested on other thread. Thanks for the quick response. As a workaround I've used a text box, but the mask would be very useful!
