I am not quite sure if I understood your concern correctly. Did you upload a PDF form to JotForm using the import tool here: https://www.jotform.com/fillable-pdf-form-creator/? Please note that if you import a PDF form, then I believe it will NOT be editable in our form builder. It will be uploaded as a file in our end, but it will give you the convenience to easily receive the submissions of your users who fill out the imported PDF form. Please note that you need to download the PDF form that you have imported and use that one instead.

Here's how it looks like when the PDF form is imported:

You cannot edit it unless you use a 3rd party PDF editor and re-import the PDF form.

When you download the PDF form, you can see the following options:

I would strongly suggest that you recreate the form using our form builder, it will allow you to maximize the other features like apps and widgets on the form. You can also freely convert it to a fillable PDF if you want. Here's a guide about the JotForm form converted to a fillable PDF form: https://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator

I hope that helps. Let us know if there's a misunderstanding or if you need more information on this.

There are many 3rd party editors online. If you need to download pdf editor that will enable you to change the document, you can take a look at the Adobe Acrobat pdf editor, they have a trial version that lasts 30 days which should work for you.

You can also try using online alternatives:

    PDFescape

    PDF buddy

With the online alternatives, you will have to upload your PDF file to their service to get the option to change the file.

The way of editing PDF depends on the software you choose.

Let us know if this worked for you.
