Can I limit the number of people who make a choice?

    So I have a registration form for a conference. The attendees need to choose a learning tour. The learning tours are limited to only 25 people each. Is there a way to "conditional logic" it so that if the person is number 26, they see a message that tells them that particular learning tour is full?

    There are actually 2 ways to achieve that without using conditional logic.

    1. You can limit the number of submissions in your form. Guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/137-How-to-Limit-Submissions-in-a-Form. So whenever the form submission reaches the defined limit e.g. 25, your form will automatically be disabled.

    2. If you don't want the form to be disabled, you can use any of these widgets to limit the number of quantity options users can select. When the items on your list have run out, the widget will cross out the item as unavailable.

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/quantity_gift_registry (use this if you want users to select multiple quantities)

    Hope this helps!

    This doesn't quite meet the criterion. A gift registry simply crosses options off a list. I have 5 tours that 25 people per tour can sign up for. Is there a way, when any particular tour reaches 25 attendees, that it either, no longer shows up in the list or a "I regret to inform you that, this tour is full. Please make another choice from the remaining  options" message can be made to pop up.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to set condition if number of available options for gift registry widget is none.

    However you can add 5 options inside of you widget (each option with 25 available items). This way if one of the tours is not available your user would be able to select other tour.

    I am wondering which form you used? Did you use custom CSS to achieve this? How do I replicate it?

    @NewYouYoga,

    There is not CSS code  to achieve this, but it can be achieved using the Gift Registry widget, you will find it on this link: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

    You can also clone the form my colleague provided above by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL
