    Hi,

We have over 4000 entries in our list and would like to export a spreadsheet to send to our client. But, when we currently hit the download excel button, we get a spreadsheet with jumbled letters and not the actual information. How can this be done? Thanks

I checked your account and a form is shared to you as a sub account user. Unfortunately, the form is encrypted, please note that forms that are encrypted cannot be exported as an excel file. Please check the "Important" section in this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

I have quoted it here for your easy reference:

    Important:

Some of the features that are not available for Encrypted Forms* are:

    1. PDF Downloads,

    2. Reports (this includes downloading Excel and CSV files from within Submission Panel),

    3. Emails that contain form data in them.

You cannot download or export the encrypted submissions as decrypted. The encryption feature on forms was designed to make sure that the submission data is secure to the point that it is mostly used for viewing purposes. If you download the excel file, you'll only get random letters and numbers (that's because its encrypted).

    I hope that helps.
