    Required Fields Not Coming Through

Asked by Vikas on March 19, 2012 at 10:57 PM

Sometimes, even though we have fields set as required fields, we will get form submissions that come through without those fields.  Often times, our customers contact information is missing...which is a big deal since we can't follow up and lose real leads.  Here is the form, but it happens on other forms as well:  http://www.modernchicagohomes.com/buy.html

    Hi Vikas,

Your form is fine, I was able to received the complete form notification message.

I'm afraid this could be a browser related issue. If your client's browser javascript is disabled, the user might be able to by-pass the required field checks. So, it is possible for them to submit without filling the required fields but it should only happen in very few cases.

Hope this clarifies the issue. If you have further questions, please let us know. Thanks.

Also, it might help if you also add a Free Text (HTML) element in your form and add this code inside:

<noscript>Your browser does not support JavaScript!

Please enable your form's javascript to be able to access the form</noscript>

This way, if the form user's browser has its javascript turned off, he will not be able to fill up the form.

Let us know if you have further questions. Thanks.
