Sending form to an email address from a fieldAsked by llamb on June 10, 2016 at 01:40 PM
Hi, I'm trying to set up a form where the last option allows the user to send to an email address. It will send to my individual email if selected. It will also send to me if the group email alias is selected. It won't however send to the other 2 people on that group email alias. I have set it up as a simple drop down menu option.
I have set this up before where selecting a group email alias will send to all members of that group. What am I doing wrong this time?
I suggest to create an autoresponder and set the "send to" dropdown field as the recipient field.
This works the same way as notifications. You can also customize the autoresponder message to anything that you want.
If you want to send email base on the user's answer, here's how: https://www.jotform.com/help/167-How-to-Send-Email-Based-on-Selection
