How do to hide empty fields in submission emails?

I don't have this option in my preferences? And am receiving all unused fields in submission emails?

    Or is it this?

    Clear Hidden Field Values

    -Clear on being hidden

    -Clear on submit

    - Don't clear

    Thanks

You don't see that option because it was removed from new preferences wizard. You can switch to old preferences wizard by using this link https://www.jotform.com/?old

This feature is set by default inside of new wizard.

Also please note that this feature will work in new and old only if email Notification table is not changed. Once you edit your email Notification table hide empty fields on email alerts feature will not work.

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

How do you then set the email notifications back to default?

There is also Jotform branding on the email notifications. Does this mean there is no editing capability at all if we want this feature enabled?

Seems strange that we couldn't brand our own forms - but then again we don't want the client or our quoting staff to have to see every field in the form (there is going to be a huge amount of fields as our offering is quite bespoke) every time we receive a submission as it looks ugly and complex.

    Thanks,

To set your email Notification to default, I would suggest you to create new email Notification and delete old one.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/25-Setting-Up-Email-Notifications

    https://www.jotform.com/help/132-How-to-Delete-Notifications-Autoresponder

If you are using Autoresponder email, then create new Autoresponder email and delete old one.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/26-Creating-a-Form-Autoresponder

Yes, this means that you can not edit your Notification of Autoreponder if you want that "hide empty fields" feature works.

Our developers are working on new feature that will allow editing of email Notification without disabling "hide empty fields" feature. However I do not know when this will be implemented.

For now you will have to choose if you want to hide empty fields or edit your Notification/Autoreponder.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

I have been having the same problem BJoanna.  Elton fixed this on one of my forms by using the old wizard.

How do I get the NEW WIZARD back in the preferences?  My preferences are stuck with the older version.

    Thanks.

There has got to be clearer explanations than the one me and this other guy is getting.  I thought the answer was to go and delete your old email notifications in the old wizard.  Then, go to preferences and enable "Hide empty fields".  Revert back to the new wizard and build new notifications and autoresponders.

I mean what are you talking about tables?  It doesn't matter.  Just how can my account get up to date with the NEW WIZARDS?

I saw that my colleague Elton replied you on your other thread how to switch back to new wizard.

You can also log in to your account with this link https://www.jotform.com/?test

When you create new email Notification "Hide empty fields" feature is enabled by default and empty fields will not be shown.

Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
I had to go back and delete old email notifications under the old preferences.  The hide empty fields was also disabled on all forms.
You know what else got me back?  I just cleared my history and the new wizards were back.
Sorry I have been all over these threads, just not use to using support here.
