along with greeting wanted to know if there is any way to import a data from a cell sheets or google economic indicators page to a text field or number of a form JotForm? ...
Yes, this can be done by using either a spreadsheet or a CSV file, here is a guide that will help you to import your data: Import-App-Easily-import-your-Excel-or-CSV-data-into-JotForm
If you have questions or need some help when trying to import your data to your form, please let us know, we will be glad to help.
What I need is a value as shown in this automated image to appear on the form when a customer opens. manuel leave an example of what I need you to automatically automate.
Thank you for the additional details.
As I can understand you want the value from the spreadsheet to appear in the form by default, but this value needs to be taken from the spreadsheet.
There is no a way to integrate a form with a spreadsheet in that way, I mean, you can not populate data form a spreadsheet into a form by doing an integration.
But you can do it by passing the values in parameters via URL, to do it you will need to get the name of that field and then fill it via URL, here is a guide that will help you to get the name of a field: How-to-find-field-IDs-and-names
The link should be similar to this one: http://www.jotformz.com/form/61676270443659?De=26.07,69
And this should be the result:
To add include the values from your cell in the link you may use this workaround, add a new cell with the link to the form, but the link should be added with the value from the spreadsheet added in the parameter, for example, in my spreadsheet I did it like this:
This will generate you different links depending on the value in the cell:
Here is the link to my spreadsheet if you want to take a look what I did: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-T7CK3aIpBGtiiBiYShkGcF95I5Cjm_b4Ag-BPXKnhw/edit?usp=sharing
This is so far the only way to accomplish what you're looking for; however, if I missed something or you're looking for something else, please let us know and we will be glad to help.
