How to filter submission data of a specific time frame?

Can you select only 2016 clients in jotform?  How would we be able to organize our completed clients vs our present clients better?

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that you want to see the submission data of your form which you have received in 2016?

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement and here are the steps you should follow:

#1. Go to your form's submission page:  https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-and-Export-Form-Submissions

#2. Click on the gear icon form the right corner which should allow you to select the "Time Frame"

#3. Select the date range for the desired time frame of just select "This Year". Please check the screenshot below:
