    Hello,

I am trying to create a condition that will take one field entry and pre-populate into another field on the same form, with the condition that the pre-population will be only the first 3 characters of the initial entry.

For example, if the first field is filled:

    COLOR: Purple

Then this entry will pre-populate into the other field like this:

    COLOR CODE: Pur

These will be all within the same form as well. Is something like this possible without coding?

    Thanks!

This is possible using the SUBSTRING widget

In the wizard, you just require to obtain the ID of the other field and indicate the start and end of the characters you wish to capture.

I have created a small sample form that you can view and clone if you wish
