SPF Record

We are using the Verified email address for our forms. What SPF record do I need to add to our domain SPF to allow you to send email on behalf as our domain name?

     I think you would need to add this statement into your SPF "include:jotform.com" to your current SPF Record, if you don't know how to integrate it into your current SPF Record, you can use this SPF Wizard to help you out.

Thanks for getting back with me. I forwarded your reply to our IT team, and here’s what they said…
We can only have 10 TOTAL lookups by name. This SPF for jotform, actually goes to mailgun.org, spf1.jotform.com and spf2.jotform.com. So that’s 4 lookups so far. But mailgun.org then goes to spf1.mailgun.org and spf2.mailgun.org, add two more, now 6. Now spf1.jotform.com goes to amazonses.com and _spf.google.com, which then goes to _netblocks.google.com, _netblocks2, _netblocks3, that adds 5 more so we are at 11 now and we get an error. The error is serious enough that email will not be delivered because the email system on the other end might be set to only do 10 lookups and fails, then drops the SMTP connection.
So adding theirs will hurt us overall a LOT. We are pretty close to the limit on ours right now so this will move us over to 20 lookups.

  You can minimize it to this, "v=spf1 include:mailgun.org include:amazonses.com include:_spf.google.com ip4:209.126.119.0/20 ip4:23.227.181.0/24 ip4:64.247.177.0/20 ip4:65.75.144.0/18 ip4:129.121.41.0/16 ip4:152.160.192.0/18 ~all" it's exactly the same thing without the additional look ups. Once you get it working you should use this Mail Tester - It validates the SPF with a few different validators and will let you know if it has to many lookups. I use this for my SPF Records Lookups, it allows you to query different DNS Providers easy.
