This is NOT related to a website or online form submission.
I've created an invoice template pdf using jotform and downloaded it and saved it as a pdf. I'd like to be able to fill in the form, then save as a separate pdf that i can send for the recipient to view but NOT edit. How?

I believe you can change the permissions of the fillable pdf using your pdf reader. If you are using Adobe acrobat, simply follow this guide to change the files permissions: http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/products/acrobat/pdfs/adobe-acrobat-xi-protect-pdf-file-with-permissions-tutorial-ue.pdf
You can also check out this guide for more info: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/change-pdf-permissions-56008.html.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Unfortunately changing the permissions of a PDF file is not a feature available in jotform. You can use jotform to create Fillable PDFs in jotform, but reading the pdf or changing the permissions of that file can only be done on PDF readers. For more information about our Fillable PDFs, please check out this article: Fillable PDF - Everything you need to know about JotForm Fillable PDF Creator.
