Dropdown fields automatically remembers previous selection after loading

I've been getting frustrated lately because I can't just simply make a change and preview it, and count on it.  It changes even if I do no work, but simply preview it or View Form 20 minutes later.

Here are some examples of the type of thing that is happening:

I will set a conditional logic that if one choice is selected from the dropdown menu, another items appears.  Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't.  If I preview it might, if I View Form it might not.

Even though the dropdown menu has the empty text option set to "Please select a choice" it will not always show that when I preview - instead it will start off as if I've selected one of the dropdown choices to be the default option.  Yesterday, I preview it, they are showing the default empty text I wrote as they should.  But today, they are not, choosing (randomly it seems) one of the other options, as if the changes I made yesterday were undone.

Very Specific example happening right now:

As  I write this, and just Viewed my form, the "Script" dropdown is showing, as default, "I will not be using a script."  Well that was not what it showed last night.  Last night it showed what I still have set, instead of this seemingly random mix-up.  Why would it do that when I have the Empty Option Text written ("Please select an option.") and the Default selected answer is blank?  How could it possibly show another option as if I set it as default?

I don't have it published because I don't want people to submit as I work on it, using up my free submissions.  I want to work on the form without that worry.

Here is the URL of the form when I view it:

    Thanks in advance.

I believe this is happening because the AutoFill feature of your form is enabled.

Please try to disable it and check if you are still having the same issue.

Thanks, that seems to work. You might want to make that a lot more obvious
upfront given the big annoyance while building ... at least have the
    default be disabled.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience, however, I believe AutoFill feature is disabled by default when you create your form.

No problem, but you should know I've never used that Preferences area and
didn't even know about the feature.

Thank you for your feedback. You must be used to the old Preferences UI. We recently have updated the UI, so it is understandable to be confusing a bit in using the Form Builder.

Do let us know if there is more we can assist you with.
