What does disabling a form do?

When you disable a form then your users will not be able to load it anymore, a message will be shown to them instead, the message looks like this: 

The form's name will be shown grayed in your forms page indicating the form is not available. 

This will not be deleted and you're free to enable it when you want so you can receive submissions in that form again.
