    Multiple File Upload: File uploader is failing.

    I have the maximum file size set at 1048576

    But have several customers telling me they are getting a "failed" message with files less than 500MB in size.

    Is there another setting to tweak?

    It looks like the file they tried to upload is not allowed. Make sure the file type is allowed in your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/29-Which-file-types-are-allowed-for-the-upload-field 

    I would recommend you to  just type an asterisk: "*" in the box, so any file type is allowed. Let us know if you need more help.

    I changed file type to "*" and still seems to fail.

    The files that seem to fail are 16bit Tiff images.

    I'm not sure if the name of the file is blocking the file upload. Could you try renaming the file and try uploading it? Also, please try uploading any other Tiff image to identify if the issue with the file itself. I have tried uploading a Tiff image to your JotForm and see that it worked fine at my end.

    I renamed the file to a simple "1.tif"

    Still "failed"

    It is 450MB 16bit image file ??

    Since the file is around 450mb, can you please try uploading the file using a wired connection. If it is still the same, please try using another browser just to check if it will work or not.

    If the issue persist, please try using the single upload file by turning OFF the Allow Multiple option.

    I am using a wired connection.

    Same failure using other browsers (Edge, IE and Chrome)

    I tried the single file upload and got the error below.

    Have I used up my 10GB space for the month?

    I would like to inform you that you have not used up the 10GB space for the month. I have tried uploading several tif files to your form but I am still unable to replicate the issue.

    Can you please try clearing the form cache to refresh your form? Please also try uploading a file using a different device. If the issue still persists, please let us know. Regards.

    I cleared the cache, same results with the 450MB file (Failed).

    I downsized the pixels in the same file and saved it so was only 10MB, it loaded fine.

    I have the maximum file size set at 1048576  Is that correct for 1GB?

    You are correct to set the maximum file size at 1048576 for 1GB limit. You can check out this guide for more info: Changing the upload size limit.

    Does the file upload fail if it is a large file, no matter the file extension (tif, zip, jpg)? Can you please send us a screenshot of the console when you receive the error? Here are several guides on how to open the console when using Chrome (Using the Console) or Firefox (Opening the Web Console).

    I saved the file as a different format (.psd) still apx 500MB

    Same "failed" error

    Files under 100MB seem to all be fine.

    The error is occurring on a couple different PC's
