Can't put date fields in 1 line in mobile

I made my form mobile responsive and all works great except the date and time fields. I would want each of them in 1 line but they break into 3 on mobile.

I looked at all other forum questions about this and none of the answers works for me. I tried adding the widget 'mobile responsive' which solves this issue but then it removes the padding in the whole app making everything else look bad.
