    How to reset form scrolling to 'auto' instead of 'no'

    Asked by brandonfcs on July 07, 2016 at 03:37 PM

    So we are currently having a problem on our site on the contact form in which on mobile view, one is unable to scroll down all the way. Using dev tools I realized that the form's default setting for scrolling has been set to 'no'. Is there anyway to change this on my part if not can you guys fix this particular form for us?

    The scrolling property in the form is different from your website. The height of the form is dynamic since you are using our default embed method and when the form will expand, your website should allow users to scroll. I've tested the page and it allows me to scroll all the way to the bottom. Here's a screenshot using my android device:

    You cannot change the scrolling in the default embed so if you need to, use our iframe embed instead: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code

    I understand it works for my phone as well but my coworker and a few others are having trouble. However the only people who seem to be having trouble scrolling are those that own iphones. Any idea why this is?

    I was able to replicate the problem on an iPhone. I should have checked this, my apologies for that. The issue is that you have set to hide the scrollbar on mobile devices. Here's your CSS for mobile:

    In the file, you can find the following line of styles:

    html, body {overflow-x: hidden; max-width:100%; }

    html, body {overflow-x: hidden !important; max-width:100%;}

    You need to remove overflow-x: hidden; and overflow-x: hidden !important; to fix the problem.
