Lack of function of the pick-calendar in a Date field

Hi. When I have calendar pickers in most software these days, they have the month and year arrows as your field does but they also allow me to click on the month and year at the top of the calendar to open up a list of months and then years for quicker selection of dates some time distant.

Does or will your Date field have this function? If someone is say 40, having to manually click back 40 times to get to their year of birth is painful and tiresome.

The only alternative is to manually enter the date, which renders the calendar picker pretty useless!

You can try using out birth date widget. This will will enable users to select a specific dates using 3 drop down fields instead of using the calendar.
