Natural Logarithm calculation with decimal pointAsked by GBCInc on July 09, 2016 at 07:51 PM
I see that you have a Natural Log function here: http://www.jotform.com/form-templates/get-logarithm-log-form
However it looks like it is calculated to 2 decimal places only and was an excellent volunteer effort by user Elton Cris:
I appreciate the effort by this user and dont want to burden him so is there a way i could get advice on how i could modify this template with his permission so i may extend this to 10 decimal places? Please let me know. I am trying to use it in a medical form which needs a higher level of precision.
Alternately, it looks like the template above is part of your calculation widget's log() function. Would there be a way to extend that function to 10 digits? Thank you!
natural logarithm calculation decimal point
Thank you so much. We used the ption you mentioned for other fields but are unable to do so for some CONDITONAL fild. It looks like the problem is only with conditional fields or we are not able to find the place to change the decimals. Can you please look at this example and advise? If we have to change code, i am happy to try it!
We think we figured it out now. Please see beow on what we did, so everyone benefits:
Create the Condition with the Calculated Field and click on the three dots near the bottom right:
You will see the following screen. Select the Log() function for Natural Logarithm and click Options:
On the Options screen, you can increase the decimals to 10:
I'm sorry but we are unable to see that images you uploaded, please refer to this guide on how to insert pictures in the thread.
Please try again.
Sure thing--here is a single image that covers the process:
