Could the widget populate in such a way that once Country is selected, the State field appears 'above' it - so effectively it pushes the country field down...and then the same happen when the town/city field appears.

The drop down options in the "All states and cities" widget were designed in an orderly fashion, the first is the country, second is the state and the 3rd is the city. Please note that the widget was not designed to be an address but instead a drop down option to display specifically countries, its states and its cities.

I strongly suggest checking the other map related widgets that we have in this guide: https://widgets.jotform.com/category/mapping. There might be a better widget fitting for your need.

Fine...it appears I have the wrong widget. I will look at the other options.
I don't understand the point of this widget if not to serve an address
    functon!
That being said, I want you guys to change some of the content - I wasn't
asking to do that myself - as I said, if you select Australia, the two
territories are correct, but the remaining states are preceded by the words
'State of' which is not how they are referred to here in Australia.
It was feedback for you to improve the widget, choose to do with that what
    you like!

    Hello,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We would need a little more clarity before we can forward it to our backend team to correct it. I did check the widget and it shows "State of ...". Please check the screenshot below:

Do you mean to say that "State of.." text does not have to be added before the name of the state?

Please confirm and we will forward it to our backend team.

    Thank you!

    Yes.
Just like you have Australian Capital Territory or Northern Territory, all
of the others can just be:
    New South Wales, Queensland etc.
No need for the extra text "State of"
