I posted this question to the forum earlier, but I realise that it may not get seen as quickly as I need!

I can't save. What should I do?

This might be related to browsers issue. Try logging into another browser to see if the edits were saved.
You can also check in if there is anything saved in the revision history: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-view-form-revision-history
If there is nothing, I am afraid you will need to make the edits again.
We recommend you save every single edit you make on your form:
Also, make sure the auto-save is not disable: https://www.jotform.com/help/86-How-to-Disable-Auto-Save
Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks. I have tried both of those methods but nothing there. I will now close the tab with all the work in it and say say a little prayer. Or perhaps I will play a little trumpet...

...yup, it's all gone.
A salutary lesson to us all. Do not rely on autosave. Save manually as well. -

Hello,
If in case your form got wiped out, you can revert back to your previous design by using JotForm's revision history. You can learn how to go to your form's previously saved versions and revert it by reading this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-View-Form-Revision-History
If you have questions, please let us know.
Thanks.
