    Failure to keep customize pdf

    JotForm equipment,

    I have problems when editing the pdf I need it is defined on my form, to save this perfect everything, but when you open it reappears me all misconfigured, change the field names, the order of information as leave etc .... please if I can help.

    If I understand your issue correctly I believe you mean that the customized pdf editor is not saving and displaying the pdf the way you've customized it, correct?

    We appreciate you reporting this problem to us.

    After investigating this problem further I believe I am able to confirm that there does appear to be an issue saving the formatting.

    When testing I could see this is the default design:

    But your screenshot shows you've redesigned it which when downloaded shows up as you created the formatting even though the alignment isn't correct for some:

    And when that's opened it displays incorrectly and way different than what you made with the formatting being very distorted:

    Based on the issue and what I am seeing after testing it more in-depth so far I am not able to replicate the problem other than on your form on your account.

    It seems the there may be a bug that occurred due to the current design you created that caused this to become stuck.

    I'm sending a bug report about this problem to our developers so that they can take a look and help resolve it since I believe this could potentially cause problems for other users similarly.

    I had the same issue with customizing my PDF, I opened a question for it here.

    Problems started happening when I added a logo and a few text fields using the Add Image and Add Text options in the PDF editor.

    If you used those options as well, you can try this workaround which solved my problem:

    1. Add logo to the form (not to the PDF), [Basic Fields -> Image]
    2. Add Text fields to the form (not to the PDF), [Basic Fields -> Text]
    3. Hide the Text fields and the logo if you don't want them visible on the form
    4. Reset the PDF design

    The PDF design will then contain the logo and the text fields, and it will not mess up the design when you move the fields around and resize them.

    I am also have in the same issue with my customized pdf. The formatting becomes wonky.

    Same problem here....

    Not keeping the custom layout - making your service useless for contracts etc.


    Its just error upon error with you guys at Jotform.


    Really wished that you could make a better service, and at least make some quick bug fixes, when the appear.


    Can see this has been flagged in July which is 4 months ago, and still has'nt been fixed.
