    Hi,

I want to build a quiz with 50 questions.

I used in the past the radio buttons incl. the calculation option for the right answers

question 1: Is it possible to use an xls file to put in the questions ? that mean all radio button properties based on an uploaded xls file?

question 2: it would be very nice if all questions (radio fields) are randomize. The different students will have different sequence of questions.

question 3: if it is possible to pick 50 questions of a database of 100 questions ? That means all students have different 50 questions.

It would be nice if you have any solution for my "problem"

    regards

    Christian

We generally ask that a separate support thread be opened for each concern you have, in order for us to avoid any confusion and fully address each of the questions being asked. When it comes to uploading a file from which your form questions will be created, we do have an application that can convert spreadsheets into JotForm forms:

    http://www.jotform.com/spread2jot/

However, it is not suitable for creating a quiz - it cannot create radio button or check box questions with multiple options. In order to create a quiz with such fields that offer multiple options to select from, I'm afraid you'll have to create the form from scratch, through our easy-to-use Form Builder.

When your form is created, if you want the options on a check box or radio button field to display in a randomized order, you can simply click on the gear-shaped icon of your desired field in the Form Builder, click Edit Properties, and then enable its Shuffle Options.

Please take a look at the following images for visual guidance:

Options would display in a randomized order, as depicted in the following image:

When it comes to your final question, I'm afraid there is no way for us to pull individual questions from a database and have each user answer a different randomized set of questions.

Let us know should you need clarifications regarding the above, and if you need assistance with anything else, kindly open a new support thread in order to avoid confusion and for us to assist you better.

    many thanks for your help.

Could it be, that http://www.jotform.com/spread2jot/ only works with US server ?

I tried to use it with our data on EU server but I couldnt see the new added form based ont the spread2jot uploaded file

In order not to confuse the issue of creating a quiz form, with the issues you are having with the Spread2Jot app, your report about the app not working for you has been moved to a support thread of its own:

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/882590

We will be assisting you with it there, shortly. Thank you.
