Images not getting emailed in notifications

Asked by chiseled_images on March 28, 2012 at 09:52 PM

I have a form on my site that allows my clients to upload images to me through the form.  The notification I receive of a submission used to have the images attached.  However now it just list them and I have to go to the Jotform site to download the images.  I don't think I have changed any settings.  Any ideas why the change? thanks.

I've checked the email notification settings and it appears that the tag for displaying the image within the email is not included.

In order to display uploaded images directly on your email the IMG prefix should be added into your upload tag.  In your notification email it should be {IMG:images} , this prefix will create an image with the original dimensions of the uploaded image. If you want to specify dimensions, you should provide them as arguments. Such as: {IMG:images:100:200} will put an image 100px wide and 200px tall.

Alternatively you can also add this to the body of the notification email by clicking on Image(s) Image from the form fields.

Please give this a try and let us know if it worked.
