    Hi

Could you kindly let me know if this is possible please?  We are going to send out bulk emails to students for them to click a link to fill out the survey (a JotForm).

On the survey, it's just going to be Student ID Number and 1 question to fill in.

If we include the student ID Number in the email, is it possible to generate a link which would pre-populate the ID Number field within JotForm?

    I hope that makes sense!

    Thanks

    Rich

You can use our Prepopulate App to do it: http://prepopulate.jotform.io/. I presumed you are using merge tags in the email to generate the Student ID. Is this correct or is the ID predefined?

Please note that you have to add the field that would catch up the ID number. The app would generate the correct URL. For example, the following generated URL:

    https://form.jotform.com/61964243451961?studentId=123

sudentId is the field name of the Student ID field. The 123, this is the value that you're going to change if you are using merge tags.

Please try that and let us know if you need any further assistance.
