    Hello,

I had a billing question for my account.

My credit card is being processed from outside the United States for my account with JotForm.  I get an international service fee charge every time I am billed by you.

Why are you processing credit cards outside of the United States?

    Thanks for your time.

Our credit card processing service, Plimus, sometimes does this. I believe they have two different upsteam payment processing service providers. One of them is in US and used when there is an US order. The other one is in Cyprus and used for other payments. Sometimes, they will have a problem on their US provider, and they will use the Cyprus  processor as a backup. In a few instances this occured, that was their answer when I asked them.

About the additional charge, this is what Plimus says:

"Plimus processes all orders efficiently and securely though our wide international banking and payment processing network. Recently, we have seen some isolated instances where banks are charging buyers additional fees for credit card transactions by expanding the definition of "foreign transaction". These additional charges are based on new credit card association rules and regulations. They may be invoked for any number of reasons including the type and location of the credit card, the buyer, the issuing bank, the processor or the acquiring bank."

If you want the transaction fee(s) refunded, please let us know and we will sort that out for you.
