We are experimenting an issue with this Widget. Even if we set a limit on the slots, the number of submissions is always higher than expected.
We think that it might be due to the fact that the availability of the slots is checked when the form is loaded and not when submitted. When a lot of people load the form at the same time, they are all able to select and apply to slots even if there is not enough room for everyone.
Is there any option that we could turn on to check availability upon submission ?

You are correct. Availability of the Appointment slots widget is checked when the form is loaded and not when submitted. I was able to replicate same issue on my sample form. I set the Appointment slots to have only one slot and I opened my form three time in three browser tabs. I was able to submit each form, although only one slot is available. And inside of submissions I have three submissions with same slot instead of one.
I will escalate this issue to our developers and we will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

My colleague have already reported this to our backend team. Upon checking the ticket status, I found that one of our developer is already looking into this issue. Unfortunately we cannot provide and ETA on this but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update on this.

Would you have any update on this topic ? We are increasingly using this widget and right now the malfunction requires us to post-process results ourselves which is pretty time-intensive).

Any update on this ? It's been 2 months since the issue was submitted, and since we are thinking about scaling the process involving this functionality within several teams we would really need to get it fixed.
