Edit submitted forms - how to track changes?

    Dear Team,

We need to allow users to edit their answers to the forms (which should be possible by providing them the "edit submissions" link that is displayed in the Google form we use to display their answers).

Is there any way to track what user edited his/her answers, what answers have been changed and when?

Many thanks for your help - as always :).

    Kind regards,

    Barbara

You could track a change made on a submissions by adding a date field, then set the default date to the current one, it will help you to know each time the form is being submitted again.

But this will help you to know when the change was made on; however, there does not seem to be  a way to know what was changed, there is not a changes tracker that will provide you details about it.

Currently hen a submission is edited it sends the email notification again and it contains all the info, with this you could compare it with the first submission and know the changes.

However, if you would like to request such feature, please let us know and we will be glad to escalate it to our second level.

But do note that features take some time to be available, it depends on the number of users requesting the same.

We will wait for your response.

It would be helpful to be able to track the actual changes which were re-submitted
