    Please see my example

    SEARCH & EDIT

    SEARCH & DISPLAY

Input First Name and Last Name below and click

Either of the above option for action

Or input new data and click SUBMIT

I like to combine in one FORM or separate them into 3 different FORMS with the above options.

If a user inputs, example, the First Name and Lastname, when SEARCH & EDIT is clicked, the FORM pulls out from the save and submitted data and displays into the FORM in EDIT mode.

Or inputs a particular data, when SEARCH and DISPLAY is clicked, the data is pulled out and then displayed on the screen, only for DISPLAY ONLY.

I hope if this is possible. Thanks and regards,

Unfortunately such function is not available within the Form Builder it is far more complicated for JotForm to handle since access to the submissions database is limited to submit and edit only,  search queries are not allowed.

What you wish can only be achieve if you Post the form data to your own database so that you can access and manipulate it according to your needs using your own custom script.

    Thanks!

Thank you, I hope you can consider this as an upgrade either sooner or later date. Such a nice feature if they are included.
