I'm a softball instructor and I'm making a website where people can upload pitching videos for me to analyze. I'd like to use JotForm and Dropbox because it seems so easy, but I'm wondering about the safety of it. I'm not at all familiar with the inner workings of these things, but it seems like anyone would be able to upload anything and it would be automatically downloaded to my computer. Is there some safeguard against receiving malware this way? I'm really not even concerned about the security/privacy of the uploaded files; I just want to protect my computer.
Can someone please elaborate on this topic? Thank you!

Hi, we do not do virus checking on files uploaded on our users form. You should practice extreme caution before opening files. Checking the files yourself using an anti-virus on your computer should help minimize the chances of infection.
