Calculating total based on selections made on Radio Button fieldsAsked by sloughbottom on July 23, 2016 at 03:46 PM
I need my order form to be able to calculate dollar amount totals from radio button selections.
I have added the calculator widget but it doesn't seem to be doing what I need to do.
Is there a different widget I should be using?
I have just tested your form and it seems to be working properly. If you are still having issues, you can try modifying your formula like below. You can also add the $ symbol to at the beginning to indicate the value is in dollars
Please remember to save the changes. The result should display like following.
Yes! I figured out how to add values in the settings area and that's what made it work. Thank you so much for your quick response and helpful answer. I was skeptical of this forum set-up but it's a really great way to answer questions!!!
Thank you so much - I am *thrilled* with my form!
You're most welcome, Justine, it is a great satisfaction to our team to hear your kind praise, and we are happy to have helped.
As a reference for getting Radio Button options to calculate correctly in the future, you can always set the "calculation values" to your options in Radio Button, Check Box, or Drop Down fields, by following this guide:
