Jotform Analytics VS Google Analytics widget: Can you please explain how they work

HI,

I have a question. I am trying to ad an obetive to the submit botton for analytics, because i want to see were the traffic is comming from. I found out 2 tools on jotform, i am not sure if i have to install both or how it wprks. So in order to make this tool (https://www.jotform.com/blog/150-Introducing-Form-Analytics) works i have to install the widget (google analytics) on the form? it works like that or how it will work. Because i just went to https://www.jotform.com/blog/150-Introducing-Form-Analytics and it is showim me just 1% of covertion and 1 , 105 views and just 1 response, thats weird as every day we have forms sumited from our forms.

I need help ASAP i will really apprecoate it.

Thank you for contacting us. Both tools are very helpful when trying to get a report on how the form is being viewed and submitted

The JOTFORM ANALYTICS (https://www.jotform.com/blog/150-Introducing-Form-Analytics) is a report created by us. You can view any form analytics by selecting the form and pressing MORE on the right. In the content menu, you just click on the FORM ANALYTICS. You do not need to install or active this as it is already a feature in your Jotform account.

This will open the report where you can view how many times the form has been view and submitted. You can also see the device, platform and location of the user that opened the form.

The GOOGLE ANALYTICS WIDGET, adds a tracking ID into the form. When the forms is viewed/opened it send the information to your google analytics account so you can view all the information of the form.

They both accomplish the same thing. The main difference would be that one JOTFORM ANALYTICS is our report and the other is a third party.
