Why can't customers with gmail accounts receive autoresponder?

I can't seem to solve this problem. The test email with the autoresponder works well but customers don't get an email after they fill out the form.

Is there a configuration I should do for Gmail accounts to accept the autoresponse?

It hasn't been embedded in any website.
