Autoresponse e-mail - compatibility with BlackBerry

Asked by FMPHSE on April 02, 2012 at 02:33 AM

The autoresponse form that i get back from JotForm is great, on the computer it displays fine. However, on my Balckberry the column headings are all misaligned. If it scaled in proportion that would be perfect, but that is not what is happening...some of the column headings on the far right of the form are being returned to the left hand side of the next row. So, for example, the 'Total' colum heading in on the opposite side of the screen to what it should be.

Are you aware of this compatibility issue, can anything be done about it so it scales proportionally to the original?

    Many thanks

The forms created with JotForm are optimized to work on mobiles

However , from what you state, it seems the issue is most likely related to the default Blackberry browser , I have done a research on it and this browser has a lot of reported issues.

However , you  could install an alternative browser into your blackberry, here I leave you some options

    Opera Mini

Let us know if the issues is resolved after using a 3rd party alternative

The autoresponse e-mail contains the JotForm form within the e-mail body, it is not an attachment. So the form is just opening like a normal BlackBerry e-mail, it is not using a web browser to do this.

On the iPhone the form looks perfectly formatted, by your form table is getting squashed on BlackBerry. Any ideas?

I have assigned to one of our developers. We will look into the problem on BlackBerry email clients. Thanks for letting us know!
