Will i benefit from this "New Feature: Get Uploaded Files as Email Attachments"

Just received an email regarding,

New Feature: Get Uploaded Files as Email Attachments

Will i benefit from applying it if i currently have some kind of image upload in place ?

Is the mentioned new feature better than what i have or please explain.

It depends on how you'd like to receive your file uploads.  If you need your files included in your email notifications as file attachments instead of links, you would indeed benefit from the new feature.  However, if you do not have a use for having file uploads attached directly to email notifications, the feature does not have much use.

As you can see on the 2 links supplied i give the customer the option to upload an image etc.

I suppose the real question is, What is different about uploading an image using my current forms in use to applying this new feature ?

 

The file upload process will be the exact same.  Currently when email notifications are sent after the form is submitted, only the URL to download the files that were uploaded is provided.  The new feature adds the files themselves as attachments to the email.  For your users, uploading an image will be the exact same regardless.
