Can I use any credit card processing service I want with Jotform or does it have to be the ones that are supported within the editing page?

If you are planning to collect credit card details using plain text box fields, then it is not possible in JotForm. We do not allow users to create forms that collect sensitive information like credit card details, bank information, log in credentials, passwords and the likes. This is a violation of our terms of use (please check our terms page), which would lead to your account being suspended, and possible for a permanent ban.

JotForm does not process payments, we simply pass the data to 3rd party payment processors via API. The transaction and payment is processed directly on a secured payment gateway of the 3rd party service provider (ex. Paypal, Authorize.net, Stripe). If you will ask payments from your users, it is a must to use our payment integrations.

To learn more about setting up an order/payment form, please check the following guides:

If you do not wish to automatically charge your clients, you can simply enable the "Authorization Only" feature on your payment integration, here's a guide for that: https://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization

    I hope that helps.
