Embed form within a Javascript tab won't work

Asked by JonoCowd on April 03, 2012 at 06:24 AM

    Hi there,

I'm using Joomla. I can successfully embed a form using the script, like this:

    http://www.protoncreative.com.au/web-design-quotes

However, on another part of my site I am using a Javascript tab tool called Nonumber Tabber. If I embed the script within a Tabber tab, the form won't show up. Like this:

    http://www.protoncreative.com.au/design-and-print#quotes

It won't work with embedding an Iframe either.

I asked the developer of Tabber about this, and he suggested I ask JotForm.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Jono

Can you tell us what is the editor you were using? Please make sure that it does not strip out html or javascript tags which may have caused this issue. If you are using TinyMCE you can disable code cleanup in the plugin parameters just select "never" on "Code cleanup" in the save option.

Let us know if it works. Thanks!

Hi mliz, thanks for the reply. I'm using JCE. I don't think it's stripping out tags - in fact if you view the source of the page that's having the trouble, you can see the script. Also, on other pages I can embed Jotform scripts successfully.

However, I am not a coder at all, so maybe I'm wrong... it looks good in source to me though!

    Thanks,

    - Jono

Actually, this really isn't a problem for me. I'm embedding the form in a different place on the site now. Thanks for the help!
