    How to charge the users for a product that is priced after completing/later?

    I have a very customized business, which jotform works great for and currently using to get order, but order management and pricing is the issue for me.  Some products can not be priced until the design is completed.  Other have a fixed up front price.  I only have 3 products, but these products can have many attributes (options) per product and they are different for each product.

    So I'm asking if anyone is using Jotform embedded or otherwise to capture the order information, then create a simple order in eCommerce solution for the back-end processing?  (My idea is rather then custom writing (or modifying) a solution, use the tools available like Jotform.)

    If so, any examples would be great of what system you are using and sites.

    I understand that you are having a few products that can be priced only after the design is completed and the other products are having fixed pricing. In this case, you may use the Authorize Only option that is available with PayPal/Stripe/Authorize.net so that user can provide an authorization of his credit card so that you may charge them later from the payment gateway dashboard.

    This way you can also have the products configured in the payment wizard along with additional options along with special pricing.

    That is great to know... 

    So do you have an idea of how I can put orders in "pending" status and allow the customer to return to that order to complete it?

    Pending for me is they send me a part to scan, I have to send that scan back to them, they use it in the design then send me the final part for production.
