How do I set values for each radio columns in the matrix?

    I have a set of 28 questions and 5 radio columns (Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Very often, Always).

    a) How do I set values for each column and when they are selected, the values are added up? e.g. Never=1, Rarely=2, Sometimes=3, Veryoften=4, Always=5

    if Never is selectedx2, rarely x1, always x2 = the total is 14.

    b) How do I set the 28 questions to calculate 4 different totals from the above columns. eg. Qs 1-7, 8-14, 15-21, 22-28 and then set a formula to only show the results for the highest total?

    You seem to have correctly setup the values based on the guide. Since you have already set the values of the columns, we shall move on to part B of your concern.

    You will need to add 4 different Form Calculation widgets to calculate 4 different totals.

    1. Add the calculation fields.

    2. Add the Matrix field in the calculation. A matrix with a checkbox will appear after. Only check the ones you need to calculate. So for the 1 to 7 Calculation, you will need to check boxes 1 to 7. Please see screen recording below.

    3. Repeat step 2 for the rest of the calculation widgets and you're all set.

    Here's a demo form that you can clone to your account to see the setup: https://form.jotform.com/62172794982973.

    Hi,
    Thank you for your prompt response.
    How do I set a formula to calculate the highest total of the 4 totals and then for it to show related information to that total on the next page?
    e.g.
    Q1= 35
    Q2 = 30
    Q3= 22
    Q4= 18
    So the highest total is Q1 but instead of showing the actual formula to the user,

    It shows information related to that result on the Next Page:
