I published a form which has an image and copied the direct link address. I then pasted this onto my facebook page. There is no image and no area below where in the past I have seen where I can select to add an image. Where did I go wrong.

I checked your form https://form.jotform.com/62136278650154 and cloned it. I was able to display the image as a thumbnail.
Here's a screenshot of it:
Here's when I use the form link:
If yours is not displaying, please try copying the img source in the img link. Here's a screenshot of what I meant:
Basically, we just need to add the image link in the "Image Link" option. Save your changes and try again.
Let us know if that works.

Created form clone of testform. Added image info to image link. Published but still no image on Facebook page. Seems like jot form must be very sensitive somehow.

I see where your associate got it to work. I want to know how it is done. I want to love to use your program but it is inconsistent as to performance. For example, I changed the image and link info to a different image. I then deleted the cat image from the form. When I published and placed on Facebook, the cat image was still there. There is a cleanup process for the forms that is simply not correct.

Thank you for clarification.
I did some tests and I was able to replicate the issue you're describing if the form is published with certain picture to Facebook and you decide to change the picture and publish again it is still showing the previous one.
I will forward this thread for further checking to our developers.
We'll inform you through this thread.
Thank you.

I am continuing to try to understand this problem. This may be related. I changed the name of my form but when I publish, the old name still shows up on the Facebook entry. Somehow, information for the form that is being provided to Facebook is not being updated.

That is the page title, you have to update that as well. Please follow the steps from this guide to do so: https://www.jotform.com/help/373-How-to-Change-the-Form-Title-Shown-in-the-Browser-Page-Tab.
